About NWAMS

Women united by compassion and purpose.

Founded in 2018, NWAMS is a legally established non-profit association supporting women and children in Spain and Nigeria.

Our story

A place to find support, voice and belonging.

NWAMS began when women moved by the distress faced by women and children chose to act. We provide language learning, wellbeing guidance, practical opportunities and community support that help women regain confidence.

We promote human rights, civic responsibility and community development while opposing racial, tribal, ethnic and religious discrimination in every form.

We envision a society where women and children live with dignity, confidence and hope; where unity helps overcome social, economic, cultural and policy challenges; and where language, circumstance or discrimination never prevents anyone from moving forward.

Compassion translated into practical support.

  • Provide relief and support to women in distress through education, skills development and creativity.
  • Offer holistic assistance and protection while promoting human rights and humanitarian service.
  • Foster community development and civic responsibility among immigrant women and citizens.
